Willem couldn’t make it this time, so we tried Ben Lehman’s Polaris, using the approach Willem outlined in his series on The College of Mythic Cartography, “The Pedagogy of Play: Bite-Sized Pieces” (Parts 1, 2 & 3). We only got as far as level 3.2, but I think it went pretty well for a first spin. I’d like to try a whole campaign like this sometime—maybe after we finish “Howl of the People.”
I discovered the Levelator. Combined with a good noise reduction alogrithm, I think I might have a chance at turning these into some decent quality audio files from now on.
